Real-World Experience, Not Commentary
In real estate, Dominique has owned and managed over 50 rental units (“doors”), spanning long-term rentals, operational challenges, financing decisions, tenant issues, and market cycles. This experience informs a grounded understanding of housing, cash flow, leverage, risk, and policy — from the viewpoint of someone who has capital at work and consequences attached to decisions.
That same operator mindset extends into land and agriculture. Dominique is the owner of Teca Farms, a working farm focused on sustainable land use, animal husbandry, and long-term stewardship. Farming reinforces lessons that business books often miss: seasonality, patience, systems, labor constraints, regulatory complexity, and the reality that not all growth is linear or immediate.
In technology, Dominique founded and leads Global Computers and Networks (GCN), a technology firm that supports businesses and institutions with infrastructure, security, cloud computing, and systems design. GCN has worked with large enterprises and government clients, reinforcing a deep understanding of how systems scale, how incentives shape behavior, and how complexity compounds when foundations are weak.
Across all three domains, the common thread is operations — building systems that work in the real world, under real constraints.
